I have been helping a friend with Internet video streaming. Here is what I said. I am sure that you will get all kinds of questions about why the video won't play fast, etc. You will have to tell your audience to 1) Try a different computer or 2) Get a faster Internet connection or 3) Download and/or upgrade their Windows Media Player or 4) Download and/or upgrade the media player PLUGIN for their browser or 5) Try using a different browser, e.g., switch from Firefox to Internet Explorer or 6) All of the above. The video speed will depend on the user's Internet connection and whether they are running other programs or downloading at the same time as the video is playing. When they watch the video they should shut down all other downloads and programs (any automatic updates that might be running and programs such as Skype). You can stream at light speed (someday far far in the future), but if your audience uses dial up or they are downloading something big while watching the video, their view will stall and start and stall, etc. When I have time this week (or so), I will put together a video playback solution page. Right now click here for questions and answers and here for software solutions Most problems are at the user's end. University libraries may have faster connections. My Internet connection is fast, and the video speed on your webpage is always absolutely perfect at my end. Just remember, Internet software and video streaming are not perfect yet, and the fact that the software manufacturers update software and operating systems all the time confounds things. As far as paypal goes, if your customers pay using paypal, and you do not have many transactions each month, then a personal paypal account will be fine. But if your customers use credit cards or credit cards from within their paypal accounts then a personal account incurs higher fees -- a business account will be cheaper: https://www.paypal.com/row/mrb/pal=9ZCFZU5GTSUHL
